Secluded beaches, sea caves, crystalline water and snorkelling

Kayaking & Coves Tour

Ever fancied a kayaking tour? Then what better place to do it than along a pristine coastline of stunning beaches, coves and sea caves. Situated close to Jávea, 1 hr 30 min south of Valencia is an incredible beach called Cala Granadella. This beach enters into the list of the top 10 most beautiful beaches in Spain! You will be impressed with its crystal waters and iconic white circular cliffs covered in trees. It is from here that you will set off for your kayaking adventure.

You will follow a guided route with a qualified and experienced kayaking guide. Once you depart the beach you follow the spectacular coastline of high cliffs, begin to feel the sea vibes and embrace nature.

The first stop is a tiny isolated beach called Cala en Caló. The only access to this cove is by sea which makes it more special and exclusive. You can chill on the beach and if you want more of an adventure you can swim into the secret sea cave and for the most daring there is an opportunity for a 6 metre cliff jump into the water. Here you can also snorkel in the pristine waters and see the abundance of fish.

Next is to visit a large sea cave called Cova de Llop Marí. You can actually enter with your kayak and investigate the impressive rock formations inside with the light shimming within the cave. This is one of the largest sea caves in Spain.

The last stop is the secluded beach of Cala Ambolo which is actually closed for land access. It is only accessible from the sea meaning there are far fewer people than on the other beaches along the coast. This gives you another opportunity to relax and sunbathe on a pristine beach away from the crowds.

Then it will be time to return to Cala Granadella. Once you get back you will have a bit of time to relax, sunbathe on the beach and have another swim. And after, if you would like to visit a restaurant for some local and typical Spanish food then that is also an option.

Months where the tour operates: all year

However, at these times of the year:
June – weekends
July 1st to September 1st
September – weekends

Cala Granadella gets too crowded to properly enjoy its natural beauty and there are heavy restrictions with access to the beach and parking. Therefore, on these dates another and equally impressive kayaking route called Cala Tango is chosen which sets off from Jávea beach. Please contact us for more information regarding this experience.

For the colder months you are given a quality wetsuit which will keep you warm and you will still be able to fully enjoy the experience in the water.

Use the Contact page to enquire about prices and availability.

This is a private tour but the kayak experience will most likely be with others who have booked the same session with the kayak company.
