Experience the Stunning Cliff Route of Benitatxell

Coastal Cliffs & Beaches Tour

This excursion takes you on a scenic drive 1hr 20 mins south of Valencia to Benitatxell which is located between Jávea and Calpe. The hiking trail is situated between two pristine beaches with turquoise waters.

When we arrive we begin the cliff walking route. It takes 1 hr 45 mins there and back. The trail is made 120 m above the sea, actually within the cliffs, giving fantastic views of the Mediterranean. There are various old stone huts along the route which have been used in the past by fishermen.

It leads to an isolated beach called Cala Llebeig. This beach can only be accessed by walking trails or boat and so is more secluded than the other beaches in the area with road access. It is a rocky beach with tranquil water.

After relaxing on the beach, we then follow the same path back towards Cala Moraig beach. This beach is made of small pebbles and is surrounded by high cliffs. There is an interesting sea cave formation called Dels Arcs which you will discover.

After the beaches you will be taken to a restaurant with cliff top views for some local food. Paella is an option which can be chosen.
