Enjoy a Unique Day of Canyons, Hanging Bridges and a Mountain Village

This day trip combines a spectacular hike through a mountain canyon and a visit to the beautiful mountain village of Chulilla which is only 50 mins drive from Valencia.

Stepping away from the city, you’ll embark on an exhilarating hike, meandering through the dramatic Turia River canyon. The trail is adorned with stunning cliffs, gorges, valleys, lush forests, unique hanging bridges and the blue lake.

You can choose between 2, 3 or 4.5 hour hikes depending on your fitness and energy levels. The 4.5 hour hike is circular and 16 km (10 miles). It really is a unique route and considered special in the Valencian region.

After the hike you can choose to visit a local restaurant in Chulilla for some typical food or have some free time to go up and explore the ruined castle wall or just have a drink in the village square.

If you want to escape the city into nature, trek through a breath taking canyon and experience a lovely rural village in the Valencian region then this excursion is for you.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Minimum age of 12 years (8 years if the shorter hike is chosen)
• Level of difficulty for the full hike is Medium and Low for the shorter hikes
• For lunch you can bring your own or go to a typical local restaurant in the village
• Pick up 9 am, drop off between 4-5pm
• Items to bring: small rucksack to carry your water and snack. Comfortable footwear with good grip as certain parts have uneven ground (trainers/sneakers recommended)
• For summer months, also bring sun cream & sun hat
• For winter months, also bring a long sleeve top and jacket
